What is holistic, relational psychotherapy?

Therapy is a collaboration, a space to gain a better understanding of what may be limiting you, while also honing your ability to create what is calling to you. Holistic relational psychotherapy includes mind, body and spirit. Respect and consideration are given to key elements such as movement, community, art, faith, earth practices, and how they may impact your growth and well-being. This is an individually defined journey; one size does not fit all. It instead takes the many facets of you, your background, your identity, and your surroundings into account.

It is at the core of my practice that we all hold wisdom to heal ourselves and others. While some physical wounds heal naturally through the innate wisdom of our human bodies at other times they require more intentional care. Similarly, our hearts and our minds may heal over time, but in some areas we may continue to carry the weight of our wounding. My work with clients is relational because I welcome and accept all parts of you and your experience. You will feel seen through this connection and you will witness yourself more fully.

In this confidential space you can explore all areas of life, including those that society (or you) may deem as dark, embarrassing or unacceptable. Through care, connection, compassion and curiosity, clarity surfaces and the parts of you that are calling for attention feel more seen. Your authentic nature has space to step forward. When we explore and accept ourselves more fully, we are more empowered to express our needs, and create action to fulfill those needs. You can uncover a more authentic, less encumbered way of living.

Healing happens within compassionate relation. Ultimately, we can develop a greater trust in life, and stronger relationships. With patience, we are able to connect to the profound love that exists deeply within all of us.
